The Light the Future Choir will be performing this weekend from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 12 in Kenya at the Nairobi Pentecostal Church.
The 18 choir members will sing and share their life changing stories with the congregation.
In Oct. and Nov. 2014, the group traveled to the annual Light the Future Gala and performed for many churches while in Oklahoma.
A group will return to Oklahoma again for the 2015 gala, which will be held on Nov. 7, 2015. Many children are preparing for the upcoming choir auditions.
The Maisha staff began working on the 2015 gala plans at a meeting last week. We are looking for hardworking, dedicated volunteers and/or those with experience in event planning to help us make the 2015 Light the Future Gala a success.
