Over Spring Break, five people traveled to Maisha from March 12 through March 20 and were able to accomplish everything they had hoped.
While at Maisha, they visited the slums and were able to lead two very ill, bedridden people to Christ. In addition to visiting the slums, the team also spent time at Maisha helping with the Feeding Project and spending time with the children.
Sponsors can look forward to receiving letters from their children in the near future. With the help of the spring team, the children were able to read letters from their sponsors and respond.
The tailors were excited to see the team and were delighted when the new Maisha Collection line in the Out of Africa Market was revealed.
The team was also able to see the windows being put on the Maisha Academy, making it one step closer to completion.
The spring break mission trip was a success and we are thankful for everyone who volunteered their time during a week when most people are relaxing.
